Terms of use.

These terms apply to hyphaeadvisory.com and to the text-message program described below, both run by Hyphae Advisory Inc. ("Hyphae Advisory", "we"). By using the site, or by clicking Send to Hyphae on our form, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Information, not advice

The articles, examples, figures and service descriptions on this site are general information about how established companies win customers. They are not financial, legal, tax or other professional advice for your company, and examples marked "illustrative" describe no real client. Decisions you make based on the site are yours.

Sending us an inquiry

Sending the form, booking a call or exchanging messages with us does not create a client relationship or oblige either side to anything. An engagement begins only when both sides sign a written agreement, and that agreement, not this page, governs the work, its price and its terms. We may decline any inquiry.

Please send information that is accurate and that you are allowed to share. Don't send us confidential information belonging to someone else, or sensitive personal information about anyone, through the form.

Data Advisory

Data Advisory helps owners prepare their company's records for a license with a data lab we work with, which licenses them and pays the company directly. We work on the owner's side of that preparation, and the data lab pays Hyphae Advisory when a license is signed, as explained on the Data Advisory pages. Any license is a separate agreement between your company and the data lab, and nothing on this site is an offer to license records or a promise that a license will be offered.

Text messages

Program. Hyphae Advisory inquiry updates: text messages from Hyphae Advisory about your inquiry and any calls you schedule with us, including replies to your questions, scheduling, reminders and follow-up on your inquiry. We don't send promotional text messages.

How you join. By checking the optional text-message box on our form, which is never checked for you. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase, and you can send the form without it.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.

Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You can also use words such as QUIT, END, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE, or tell us by email. We send one message confirming the opt-out and no further texts. To rejoin, check the box again on our form or reply START.

Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email [email protected].

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and the account holder of the phone number, or authorized by them, to join.

Privacy. We do not share, sell or transfer your mobile number or text-message consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing. See the Privacy Policy.

Using the site

Please don't use the site to break the law, send spam or automated submissions, probe or disrupt its security, collect information about other people, or copy large parts of it by automated means. We may block access that does any of these things.

Our content

The text, drawings, charts, design and the Hyphae Advisory name and logo belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may read, share links to and quote short passages from our pages with credit. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.

Other websites

Links to other sites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

No warranties

The site and its content are provided as they are and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We work to keep the site accurate and available but don't promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Hyphae Advisory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version in force when you use the site applies to that use.
