Who we are

A revenue firm that already works inside your kind of records.

Hyphae Advisory builds revenue systems for established B2B companies from their own ERP, CRM and email records. Data Advisory puts the same records to a second use.

Why us

We know where these records live and who controls them.

Our main work is with manufacturers, distributors, logistics companies and engineering and construction firms doing $10 million and up. We work inside their ERP, CRM and inboxes to find revenue, so we already know how these systems are organized, which records are worth something and what customer contracts tend to say about them.

That makes us useful at the start of a licensing deal, which is where most of them fail. A promising record often turns out to belong to a customer, or to sit under an agreement that limits its use, and it is better to find that out before anyone makes an offer.

About Hyphae Advisory

Who does what

Two firms, with separate jobs.

Hyphae Advisory

Prepares the owner and the company

  • The first conversation, and a straight answer on whether to go further
  • Separating the records you own from material held for customers
  • Flagging customer contracts that limit how records can be used
  • Preparing the intake with you
  • Going through the offer and the license terms with you before you decide
  • Keeping the deal moving and chasing answers from the data lab

The data lab

The buyer

  • Reviewing the record and making the offer
  • Signing the license as the buyer
  • Anonymization, through a specialist firm
  • Preparing the data and supplying AI labs
  • Paying the company

How we're paid

The data lab pays our fee. You pay nothing.

When a license is signed, the data lab pays Hyphae a referral fee. It does not come out of what the company receives, and the company pays nobody anything at any stage.

We tell every owner this on the first call. Our job in the deal is to make sure you know what you own, what you are licensing and what you are agreeing to, and if the honest answer is that a record isn't worth pursuing, we say so.

We don't give legal advice. Questions about what your own contracts allow belong with your counsel.
